Historic Soulard has many dining establishments. From its many corner pubs and bars that feature pub food to the many restaurants that serve a wide variety of dishes, there is something for everyone looking for a place to dine or just hang out. Some to the restaurants and pubs located there are Molly's in Soulard, John D. McGurk's Irish Pub, Frazer's Restaurant and Lounge, Tucker's Place, 1860 Saloon, Llywelyn's Pub and others. The Soulard Farmers Market also has several places to dine.

Historic Soulard, a neighborhood in the St. Louis Historic District and on the National Register of Historic Places, is well known for its festive and sometimes rowdy Mardi Gras celebrations.
